Disable hardware acceleration on the Chromebook:

  1. Type chrome://flags in the Chrome browser’s address line and press Enter.
  2. Press CTRL+F and type hardware in the search box that appears.
  3. Look for the Hardware-accelerated video decode option.
  4. Select Disable, and click RELAUNCH NOW in the lower-right corner.
