By 2008, White Cloud had annual sales of $600 million across all those Walmart categories, according to an investment bank that tried to sell Gelbart’s remaining trademark rights the following year. But Walmart also decided to remove White Cloud from its diaper shelves in favor of its own Parent’s Choice brand.
